Lacking a garden in our Bristol flat, we grow tomatoes and herbs in our kitchen. It has developed into a mini forest, and I love shadows and reflections in the leaves at night. Looking at the fairy lights running around the flower pots, I decided to borrow some of our daughter's toys to create a magic moment, a sort of Beatrix Potter scene of animals gathered at night for story time, and a slice of juicy apple. This picture got me shortlisted at the "Pink Lady Food Photographer of The Year". Read my blog post about it here.
