Merry Bizzy and Boo!Some of you might know that as well as my main store I also use Etsy to sell some of my prints. Etsy is a brilliant community of people passionate about arts, crafts and home decor, and I've been able to connect with many talented people like Cherie of Accessoire Jewelry, Sarah of Spotty Dog Images,Vikki of Pikey's Handknits, Sarah of Sarah's World of Creativity, and Natasha of Bizzy and Boo. But it's even better when you get the chance to meet face to face, which is what happened recently. Last month I met with the lovely Natasha. Natasha is a 5 to 9er; after her day job she takes care of her two young children, but when they go to sleep, there's no time to rest for the Bristolian entrepreneur who designs and creates her very own kids clothes. From colourful jackets and baby gowns, to leggings, baby dresses to bibs, Natasha does all the cutting, stitching and sewing herself, often until the wee hours. Given that I can't even sew a button, you can imagine how pretty amazing that is for me! Natasha commissioned me to take pictures of her newest range of adorable designs and I was more than happy to oblige. Dan and I set up my mobile studio at St Werburgh's Farm in Bristol and shortly after the stars of the show started to arrive. For the photo-shoot, Natasha had gathered 10 adorable little models from 6 weeks to 7 years old. I must admit that I was surprised at how smoothly everything went. Nearly no tears to report during our four hour session! The festive season is just around the corner, and if you're looking for some beautiful, organic, and original made in Bristol accessories and clothes for your kids, head over to the Bizzy and Boo shop on Etsy. Natasha has been busy creating a Christmas collection with cheerful patterns and cute lines so it's a no brainer for great presents this year! Don't forget to also visit the sites of my other Etsy friends mentioned above to shop for some more original and handmade gifts!
